Action Planning
The ultimate aim of an Organisational Effectiveness Survey is to facilitate continuous improvement at all levels in the organisation through actioning critical issues and by enhancing employee involvement and communication. While the survey data will highlight strengths and areas for improvement within your organisation, feedback meetings will help to clarify why employees feel a particular way and allow them to suggest positive improvements. Action Planning refers to the process whereby Managers discuss survey results with their individual workgroups in order to determine which issues are most salient and need to be the focus of improvement efforts. Action Planning demonstrates to employees that Management will listen to their concerns, which will enhance trust engagement and performance. Failure to discuss survey results with employees will have the reverse effect and credibility will suffer. The Action Planning process below is used to help clients ensure feedback meetings are effective and produce the required employee feedback to allow effective strategies to be developed and implemented.
